Com o intuito de revelar novos talentos do cenário artístico nacional, a 55SP Galeria promove a exposição Together. Sob a curadoria de Julia Morelli, a mostra que será realizada no espaço de arte localizado no centro antigo da cidade de São Paulo, contará com as séries inéditas de trabalhos feitos com a técnica da colagem pelos artistas plásticos Gabriella Garcia e Gustavo Amaral. Entre as atrações previstas durante o vernissage, haverá apresentações do produtor musical Pedro Zopelar e do DJ Davis, ambos residentes da conceituada festa ODD.

Gabriella Garcia, uma das convidadas para a exposição, é autodidata e apresentará as séries “Forms Addictions Way”, como também a inédita “Love Letters to CT”, esta última criada em homenagem a Cláudio Tozzi. A artista iniciou seus experimentos com colagem em 2012 e suas obras são compostas por fragmentos de livros e revistas. Em seus trabalhos é comum encontrar temas múltiplos, desenvolvidos com intervenções, técnicas mistas, adaptações de objetos e, em alguns casos, envolvendo o desenvolvimento de estruturas especiais, como esculturas e instalações.

Já Gustavo Amaral apresentará a série “Somos Novos Aqui”. Ele atua na arte desde 2006 e suas colagens tem como característica a preocupação de contar histórias em narrativas intrigantes, em formato não linear. O artista procura, com seu trabalho, criar um mix entre o analógico e o digital, remetendo às emoções da forma humana, em busca de seus objetivos. Descrevendo o “Não Lugar e o Não Comum”, Amaral faz uso de diversas imagens figurativas, explorando ao máximo as cores e texturas.

With the intention of revealing new talents from the national artistic scene, the 55 SP Gallery promotes the exhibition Together. Under the curatorship of Julia Morelli, the exhibition that will be held in the art space located in the old center of the city of São Paulo, will feature unpublished series of works done using the technique of collage by the plastic artists Gabriella Garcia and Gustavo Amaral. Among the attractions planned during the vernissage, there will be presentations by music producer Pedro Zopelar and DJ Davis, both residents of the celebrated ODD party.

Gabriella Garcia, one of the guests for the exhibition, is self-taught and will present the series "Addictions Way", as well as the unprecedented "Love Letters to CT", the latter created in honor of Cláudio Tozzi. The artist began her experiments with collage in 2012 and her works are composed of fragments of books and magazines. In his works it is common to find multiple themes, developed with interventions, mixed techniques, adaptations of objects and, in some cases, involving the development of special structures such as sculptures and installations.

Gustavo Amaral will present the series "Somos Novos Aqui". He has been working in art since 2006 and his collages have as a characteristic the concern of telling stories in intriguing narratives, in non-linear format. The artist seeks, with his work, to create a mix between analog and digital, referring to the emotions of the human form, in search of their goals. Describing "Non-Place and Non-Common", Amaral makes use of several figurative images, exploiting to the maximum the colors and textures.
