Nascido no Brasil, o artista Laercio Redondo terminou sua pós–graduação na Konstfack, University college of Art, Crafts and Design em Estocolmo, Suécia. Sua pesquisa envolve a memória coletiva e seus apagamentos na sociedade, seu trabalho é frequentemente motivado pela interpretação de eventos específicos relacionados com a cidade, a arquitetura e representações históricas.”

Suas exposições individuais incluem Relance, Pinacoteca de São Paulo (2018); Past projects for the Future no Dallas Contemporary (2016); Contos sem Reis na Casa França-Brasil, Rio de Janeiro (2013) e das exposições coletivas destacam-se  Josephine Baker e Le Corbusier no Rio – um caso transatlântico (2014), Museu de Arte do Rio de Janeiro; Idea di Frattura – Opinione Latina / 2, Galleria Francesca Minini, Milão (2014); Amor e ódio à Lygia Clark, Zachęta National Gallery of Art, Varsóvia (2013); The right to the city, Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam (2013); O interior está no exterior, SESC Pompéia, São Paulo (2013).

Sua obra integra coleções, tais como Museu de Arte do Rio e Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro, Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo e Museu de Arte Contemporânea da Universidade de São Paulo.

Born in Brazil, artist Laercio Redondo finished his postgraduate studies at Konstfack, University college of Art, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Sweden. His research involves collective memory and its erasures in society, his work is often motivated by the interpretation of specific events related to the city, architecture and historical representations. 

His solo exhibitions include Relance, Pinacoteca de São Paulo (2018); Past projects for the Future at Dallas Contemporary (2016); Tales without Kings at Casa França-Brasil, Rio de Janeiro (2013) and the group exhibitions stand out Josephine Baker and Le Corbusier in Rio - a transatlantic case (2014), Museum of Art of Rio de Janeiro; Idea di Frattura - Opinione Latina / 2, Galleria Francesca Minini, Milan (2014); Love and hate for Lygia Clark, Zachęta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw (2013); The right to the city, Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam (2013); The interior is outside, SESC Pompéia, São Paulo (2013).

His work integrates collections, such as Museum of Art of Rio and Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro, Pinacoteca of the State of São Paulo and Museum of Contemporary Art of the University of São Paulo.
