Cinthia Marcelle

Cinthia Marcelle se interessa por diversos processos artísticos, buscando a matéria-prima de seu trabalho nas relações sociais e no caos cotidiano que a cerca. Transita entre a organização e desorganização das coisas e dos seus próprios métodos, criando intervenções que sugerem novos arranjos e sistemas. Trabalhos em parcerias com outros artistas e participação em projetos coletivos também constituem práticas recorrentes na sua trajetória. 

Graduada em Belas Artes na UFMG (1997-1999), participou de significantes exposições sendo as mais recentes PS1, Nova Iorque (2016), 57a Bienal de Veneza (2017), Modern Art Oxford (2018), SFMOMA, São Francisco (2019). Vencedora de prêmios como The Future Generation Art Prize  (2010), Pavilhão Brasileiro na 57a Bienal de Veneza (2017).  

Diran Castro

Atua de maneira transversal no terreno das Artes Visuais. Há 9 anos é mediadora em espaços expositivos, desenvolvendo esse trabalho de forma concomitante em instituições de arte. Pesquisa as possibilidades de leituras de obras além das camadas de tinta, realizando palestras na Suíça, Vevey e Lausane. Dedica-se ao projeto “Seus filhos também praticam”, no qual utiliza a prostituição como ferramenta de trabalho e investigação, aproximando-se de garotos com idade entre 18 e 25 anos, brancos, ricos e autodeclarados héteros. Nele, busca cultivar o diálogo e a escuta no domínio da raça, classe, gênero e sexualidade.

Cinthia Marcelle is interested in several artistic processes, being the core of her work the social relations and in the daily chaos that surrounds her. It moves between the organization and disorganization of things and its own methods, creating interventions that suggest new arrangements and systems. Works in partnership with other artists and participation in collective projects are also recurrent practices in her career.

Graduated in Fine Arts at UFMG (1997-1999), she participated in significant exhibitions, the most recent being PS1, New York (2016), 57th Venice Biennale (2017), Modern Art Oxford (2018), SFMOMA, San Francisco (2019) . Winner of awards such as The Future Generation Art Prize (2010), Brazilian Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale (2017).

Diran Castro

She acts in a transversal way in the field of Visual Arts. For 9 years she has been a mediator in exhibition spaces, developing this work concurrently in art institutions. Researches the possibilities of reading works beyond the layers of paint, giving lectures in Switzerland, Vevey and Lausane. She dedicates herself to the project “Your children also practice”, in which he uses prostitution as a tool for work and research, approaching boys between the ages of 18 and 25, white, wealthy and self-declared straight. In it, she seeks to cultivate dialogue and listening in the domain of race, class, gender and sexuality.
